Adding Hierarchy Data in CAMS

This article explains how users can add hierarchy data (Building, Room, Component) in CAMS, including steps for downloading, completing, and importing data templates.

Adding Hierarchy Data via the Web Interface

  1. Log in to CAMS Web.
  2. From the homepage, choose the module (e.g., Buildings).
  3. In the left-hand menu, select the specific level where you want to add data.
  4. Choose Data Add & Update.
  5. Download the Data Import Template.



  6. Fill out the template and save the completed file.



  7. Return to CAMS and click the Import button to upload your file.




  8. Once the import is complete, you can check the status of your data upload under Job Status.
