Configuration Overview for CAMS Web
Overview
This article outlines the key configuration tools available to administrators in the Configuration section of CAMS Web. These tools allow you to control how data is structured, captured, displayed, and synchronised across modules.
All configuration settings are accessible from the Configuration panel in the left-hand menu and are only available to users with admin-level permissions.
Chart Configuration
Used to define and manage chart settings for web-based reporting.
You can:

Set up default charts to appear in reporting views

Adjust visibility or layout for specific user groups

Assign filters, thresholds, or display conditions to chart widgets

Mobile Configuration
Mobile configuration controls what data appears in CAMS Mobile and how it is captured.
You can:

Tailor configurations to different teams or asset types

Monitoring Job Status
Allows administrators to review system-level tasks such as configuration updates or import jobs.
You can:

Check progress and completion status of configuration-related jobs

View detailed job logs, including who initiated each task

Filter by job type (e.g. module config, sync events)

Identify and reprocess failed or queued jobs

Module Configuration
Used to define the structure of each module in CAMS Web, including which fields appear, how data is grouped, and how hierarchy is configured.
You can:

Set which levels (e.g. Asset Group, Portion, Area) are used in each module

Arrange the display order and naming of your hierarchy levels
