Mobile Inspection Fields Configuration (Step 4 of Mobile Configuration)

Overview

This step in the mobile configuration workflow allows Admins only to choose which fields are available for inspection activities in the CAMS Mobile App. These fields will be available to configure further in Step 5 (Inspection Widgets Configuration), so it’s essential to set this list correctly first.

The interface consists of two lists:

• A Field List showing all available fields

• An Inspection Field List showing the fields currently included in the mobile inspection form

Fields can be added or removed using the directional arrows between the two panels.

For Inspectors

This configuration step is not accessible to Inspectors. Your Admin team defines which fields will appear in your mobile inspection forms.

For Admins

Selecting Fields

To include a field in mobile inspections:

1. Select it from the Field List on the left

2. Use the right-arrow button ( ▶ ) to move it to the Inspection Field List

3. Use the double arrows ( ▶▶ / ◀◀ ) to move all fields between lists as needed

Required Fields

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) such as Quantity and Condition Rating are mandatory. These must be included in the configuration and cannot be removed.

Only the fields in the Inspection Field List will be available when configuring layout and widgets in Step 5.

Tip: Keep the list of inspection fields relevant and concise to streamline the mobile inspection experience.
